Discrimination in Education

Often, I think why do we need Telangana.. it seems no reasons to bother, except calls to frnds will reflect as STD in my bill, .. but when I think of the people of telangana, I feel sorry for them and raise as a fighter!.. I too had many arguments with my friends, few got convinced...few din't. So, I would like to put forth some facts which cannot be neglected.

Turing the pages of the state government allotments in the past, makes me a social revolutionist. It's a known fact that every politician works for the people of his own region. This attitude and thinking of politicians could no longer be toleraned by the people of Telangana and thus gave rise to this revolution .

Some facts that cannot be denied:

* Development of education affects and, in turn gets affected, by the pace of economic development. There is a bi-directional linkage. At the time of formation of Andhra Pradesh, it was assured that disparities in the levels of development in different regions of the state, including the field of education, would be removed in five to ten years of time. But even after five and a half decades, the literacy rate in the Telangana region continues to be lowest in the State.

* Number of Teachers in Government and Aided Degree Colleges: Telangana: 3709, Andhra: 8828. The figure makes it abundantly clear that only 29.50% of the expenditure is incurred on the Telangana region, against its entitlement of a minimum of 40.69%.

* Grant-in-Aid released to Private Aided Degree Colleges (2008-09): Andhra: 75.25%, Telangana: 24.75%. Nine Telangana districts (excluding the capital city) account for Rs. 17,05,51,900, i.e. just 8.41% of the total grant released for the entire state. In Coastal Andhra, just two districts (Krishna and Guntur) get Rs. 61, 42,47,000 i.e., 30.38% of the total grant meant for the 23 districts of the State.

* The JNTU was actually established in Warangal (Telangana); but was subsequently shifted to Hyderabad under the pretext of locating all state level universities of the State to the capital city. Same time, NTR started the University of Health Sciences in Vijayawada (Coastal Andhra) and the Women’s University in Tirupathi (Rayalaseema), Dravidian University in a remote village Kuppam and SVIMS in Tirupathi, conveniently forgetting the convention of locating the state level universities in the capital city. Finally, without any reason or restraint continued the spree of establishing state level universities, mostly in Rayalaseema and Andhra regions.

* During Dr. Rajasekhar Reddy’s tenure as the Chief Minister, ten new regional/district level universities have been established – four each in Coastal Andhra and Telangana and two in Rayalaseema. Numerically, it appears judicious; but, the pattern of the release of grants to these universities is atrocious. For instance, the Yogi Vemana University in Kadapa, Telangana University in Nizambad and Mahatma Gandhi University in Nalgonda were started at the same time. The grants released to these universities from their inception till 2009: Telangana University: 29,50,00,000; Mahatma Gandhi University: 30,51,00,000;Yogi Vemana University(Kadapa, Rayalaseema) 300,00,00,000.

Can there be a more blatant example of discrimination against Telangana?

Love: Is it a capability to reach the heighness of Hope !!

Often, i feel like RUN from those lovely thoughts, sweet talks..... the state of dream in lone time, jiggle in my mind and ... so tagged optimist, that someday i would find the lost love. Though it makes one heart tough to bring it to an end and move on, but this weak heart lands from where it took-off ... so many question render in my mind but can't move on with the fact that i can't get back that love... but still i dream ...i smile...i think ....

"Is it 'Love' has the capability to control our minds with a signal of hope ?? or Is it concealing myself and stuck in life??"

It always Downhearts Me

Often over the times i do get serious about my life and like to interpret my life standing lonely at the corner of the balcony. I do love my life and want to start the day with a new face (off course smile on the face ..). But during the times my mind gets diverted towards the organization of the government and gets frustrated. (Hhrr... i thought to start my day with a smile on face..). I feel that those who don't have brains are none other than the officials of municipality in India (...where are your brains ??..)

The municipal workers who collect the trash of the society and the one who earn the status of clean society, are they safe or are they walking on the wall (one side ..poor .. other side .. inability to come over ).. as they pick the trash and dump with their bare hands and neither they wear shoes which are necessary. Than what about the workers who collect the trash near from a hospital ... shall they step into the garbage with their chappals and pick up the garbage with bare hands.

Why the government is following the old stuff .. they do have brains .. than why they dont think of the change. The poor workers safety means our society safety .. and need to provide with the proper safety cloths and shoes .. (though i know it cost more than their one month salary .. but its not wrong for a person to wear worth more than his status when the matter of the job requires that ...). I think that every worker should be given a pair of gloves and shoes which can protect them during their service to the society..

Is Politics an Antic ???

The news of Chiranjeevi entering into politics is been tiding over the state. I have seen people praising him to enter into politics and there is a immense response from the state (not even one from his hometown). This point had made me to think that does he really suits as a People's man (hhmmm ... i think i have used a huge term .. better to go for 'a Politician') .. now i need to justify whether he is a people's man (the one who acts on screen or the one who is been evaluated by his hometown people).

Do Chiranjeevi have the abilities to lead a party in ANDHRA PRADESH. Ofcourse he can dance well and action that is not much inspiring, but does these are the things that are enough to enter into politics. i read many articles by his fans that were published in THE HINDU. In every article i seen them praising him looking at his films and his roles in the film. But can we decide about one's perception by his roles in the films.

There was a article in which one says that "Mega Star has secured a place in the hearts of the people by contributing his mite in the fight against social evils like corruption and bribery in his movies .. errr.. movie ... Tagore ' ".

Though it will not be a 'win-win situation' for the people of the state but it definately will be a 'win situation' for the megastar.
